It's been awhile, so I'll just try to hit the highlights.
Dillon turned 8 in May. Since the boys chose to have a joint party in June, we did his actual birthday pretty low key.
Dillon's wolf den built this chuck wagon for the Chuck Wagon event and then they pulled it in the town's Memorial Day Parade. Dillon looked awesome in his high wool socks and lime green Crocs on this hot, misty day.
About a week before Dillon's birthday, we added Max to the family. The kids really love her and she is finally starting to grow out of some of the annoying kitten traits- like destroying my furniture!
At the end of the school year, Dillon's class had an Author's Celebration where each child read a story about their family in front of all the families. Dillon was a bit nervous but did a fantastic job once he got going.
Our school offers an enrichment program for preschoolers and Anneke really got into the music portion! Gilbey really enjoyed our Fridays of music and gym.
Gilbey "graduated" from preschool. He misses seeing his teacher Mrs. Dorfman every day. Thankfully, his kindergarten class is just around the corner from her classroom and he does still get to see her sometimes.
The boys had a fun birthday party in the church hall with some friends. The theme was Bakugan and everyone had a blast.
The sack races were a hit!
Even Jason got into it.
And I was talked into it too.
Dillon and Jason went to the summer camp out with scouts and Dillon caught a fish.
They had a great weekend!
