So, I just spent the better part of an hour trying to get to the insides of a vacuum to see why it wasn't working. And not just any vacuum- Gilbey's toy vacuum. The one that for the past year he hasn't wanted batteries in because it was too loud.

After taking out 2 dozen screws, I finally made it to the inside. There is one little wire that isn't attached to where it should be. That's right- one teeny tiny wire. It's just hanging there. When I touch it to its proper place, the vacuum comes to life. However, there is no way to reattach it, short of soldering it back in place.

Looks like the vacuum and its endless screws are taking a trip to Papa's house. Maybe he can fix it!
