As the last months have rushed past me, I have thought dozens of times about how I needed to write thank you cards for all the wonderful gifts that were given to our family at Christmas. I would sit at worked writing up lists of who we needed to thank, but by the time I got home, there were things to do and I never made myself carve out the time to do it. So, here we are 3 months later and I still haven't done them. At this point, it's pretty much too late. Every one already thinks we are a bunch of ungrateful people who don't appreciate what others do for us.
But, we do! We loved every single thing we got for Christmas. The kids loved the books, magazines, games, toys, and clothing. Jason and I loved the thoughful gifts made to charity on our family's behalf and the lovely jewelry, clothing, and monetary gifts we received. Our family's Christmas was so special because we knew that so many of our family and friends were thinking about us on such a special day.
